Marion County faces a potential economic loss of $207 million because of the 796 students who failed to graduate in 2009

-Research by Cecilia Rouse, professor of economics and public affairs at Princeton University, shows that each dropout, over his or her lifetime, costs our nation approximately $260,000.

1 in 10 male high school dropouts, ages 16 to 24, is currently either in prison or juvenile detention.
